Frequently Asked Questions
How Many Hours Will I Work per Week?
This is an ongoing opportunity but the workload fluctuates and it depends on the projects and languages needed. Some languages like Spanish can receive multiple projects every week. But we cannot guarantee.
How do I get assignments?
We use our signature scheduling platform “LinguistLink.net”. When you onboard, you will create a profile and will receive job requests that you can accept or reject.
Are the appointments remote or onsite?
We receive both types of requests from our clients. We love having flexibility with scheduling our interpreters.
What equipment do I need to provide remote interpretation?
Remote interpreters are responsible for having an external headset, good internet connection, and a quiet environment to perform the interpretation.
Is this an employee position or contractor?
Interpreters and Translators are set up as contractors, but opportunities for W2 employee positions do become available.
How do payments work?
We use Proz*Pay to process payments. Payment terms are net 45 days from the receipt of the invoice.
Do you provide training?
We have some training to help with working with the Mindlink system. Our team is available to answer any questions and help in any way they can.
Do you work with other language companies worldwide?
We do partner with LSP’s worldwide to meet the growing needs. If you are interested in working with us, send your pricing list to: flex@mindlinkresources.com. We will get in touch with you if there is a fit.
